Battalion 2: Notify DEP to respond, we have a sizable break here, and fill out the box, we're going to need more units.  Also notify PD for traffic control.

DEP inquiring if there's any other mining going on

BC2: Box 310 notify DEP we have underground mining going on, we're checking the corner of 6th Ave and Watts, and we're checking the subways as well.

BC2: Be advised we have 6th ave shut down south of Watts St, we're also affecting traffic to the Holland Tunnel, advise Port Authority we've shut down one of the entrances to the tunnel

Division 1; At this time we're going to set the command post at 6th Ave just south of Watts St.  We also need a ConEd rep on the scene, we also need PD on the scene.

DC1: At this time we will go with the All-Hands, no special units needed.  DEP is on scene, trying to shut the water down.  We have a 12-inch water main that has ruptured, all adjoining buildings and subways have been checked.  Transit rep is not required.

Now receiving a call for 121 6th Ave near Broome St reporting a car leaking oil.

DC1: Have an extra truck respond to this box, the car leaking at 121 6th Ave, we need a truck with speedy-dry.

DC1: Can you have EMS respond to Box 310 please, at this time somebody slipped.

DC1: Box 310, DEP is on scene attempting to isolate the leak.  We are continuing to search surrounding properties, situation is still Doubtful.

22:15 hours - Duration 1 hours 21 minutes
DC1: At this time DEP has isolated the leak, water flow has been shut down.  We are continuing to search surrounding properties for water damage, we will go Probably Will Hold

22:24 hours - Duration 1 hour 30 minutes
DC1: On Box 310, at this time the leak has completely been stopped.  OEM and DEP are on scene.  They will begin repairing the main, Under Control.

BC2: All FD operations at Box 310 have concluded, DEP will be incident commander, units will go 10-8 when they become available.
