Clearly the Gman effect: E 280 should be first due on the box, not the second alarm.  Must have been out.
 
Absolutely right - not sure if out at Biopod or other alarm was out - when I get a chance I will listen to the archive tape
 
  Normal 1st alarm response should be: E280, E219, E235, L132, TL105, BC38. Assignment card for box 980 @Grand Ave & Bergen St. which is the next box north on Bergen St., dated 12-15-53 shows E219 was closer than E280 to Box 980 and E269 was today's Sq.1:

Ok got it thanks. They could have just said flu shots that makes it simpler for people like me  ;)
