Take a look at E151's report to SI @ 922hrs. Reported that the "truck" is opening up, normally you see not only the IC report this, but what's neat is that since 151/76 are so far out there alone, these companies often work alone for some time before the next in companies arrive. It wasn't "trucks" are opening up at first. 164/84 have quite a distance to this box. Wonder how many fires in Tottenville could be bigger or worse depending on the work of the first due companies acting fast enough or what not. I know this is the case in every fire no matter where but when companies like these, and other geographically isolated companies catch first due jobs often the first few moves by them dictate the fire. Also, 10 mins for the 23 to arrive to the box after the initial ERS alert. NOT bad timing, coming from Great Kills. This box is 10+ mins from me, and I'm another 10 mins from the 23. Either they flew down Hylan Blvd or they were out of quarters at the time and closer to the box.
