Looks to be up the block across Bergen Street from the Hunterfly Road Houses at the Weeksville Heritage Center.

Weeksville began as a community of 32 lots brought from the Lefferts family for freed Blacks. In 1838 James Weeks built a house on two lots. Weeksville was located then just outside the Brooklyn city limits. It was bordered roughly by Fulton Street, East New York Avenue, Ralph Avenue, and Troy Avenue. By 1855 there were 521 residents. More came after the NY Draft Riots in 1863.

Incorporated with Brooklyn into New York City in 1898, Weeksville gradually disappeared. Robert Moses helped this along with the NYCHA destruction and construction of the Kingsborough Houses in 1941.

Now all that remains are the Hunterfly Road Houses carrying addresses of 1698 to 1708 Bergen Street. Of course, Engine Company 227 is further down the street at Ralph Avenue and Bergen Street.
