One of the only piers that far up along the East River on the Manhattan side. I might be wrong on this, but doesn't E. 107th stop at 3rd Ave.?

  Pier is reached by going to FDR Dr. at 106th St. When I was growing up I remember East River excursion boats stopping there to pick up passengers.
