High pressure gas main break at a construction site.

0910 - TL-12 - Notify Con-Ed that was have a high pressure gas main ruptured.

0913 - Bn. 7 - Have PD shut down pedestrian traffic on the High Line.

0916 - Bn. 7 - All Hands - We have multiple addresses to check.

TL-21 FAST - E-24 4th Engine

(Manhattan giving numerous addresses for odors of gas)

0920 - Div. 1 - Special call another Battalion Chief (Bn. 9).

0921 - Bn. 7 - We still have gas actively leaking. Two precautionary lines stretched.

0933 - Div. 1 - Have OEM respond.

0942 - Div. 1 - Transmit the 2nd Alarm. Have all companies respond to Battalion 9 at West 19th and 9th Avenue. Have all chiefs respond to the Command Center at West 19th and 10th Avenue.

0946 - Bn. 7 - Con Ed is on scene and attempting to shut down the gas. We are evacuating several addresses. DWH

0953 - Bn. 9 - Have a Tower Ladder respond to 10th Avenue between 18 and 19 Street (TL-7).

0957 - Div. 1 - Con Ed has shut down the gas. We are in the process of checking multiple buildings. Duration 52 minutes.

1008 - Div. 1 - PWH - Duration 1 hour 2 minutes.

1016 - FC - This was a 4 inch gas main break. Turning the scene over to DEP and Con Ed gas. Under Control - Duration 1 hour 10 minutes.
