Fire is on the 4th floor of a 6 Story OMD Class 3 100 x 100. In apartment 11D as in (David).

@ 00:10 - Battalion 19 states using all-hands, one line being stretched into the fire building at this time.
@ 00:13 - Battalion 19 states water in the first line.
@ 00:18 - "Could we have a bus respond, we have a patient with asthma."
@ 00:21 - Main body of fire is knocked down. Trucks are continuing to open up. Primaries are negative at this time. Duration is 17 minutes.
@ 00:31 - Division 7 states: Fire is P/W/H at this time. Secondaries still under way.
@ 00:33 - Have Con Ed electric respond to Box 3161.
@ 00:41 - Fire is U/C. Duration 37 minutes.

Division 7 went 10-8 shortly there-after, leaving Battalion 19 as the I/C.

Eng 75 was out on a run when this came in, they were assigned 4th due when they cleared

75/33 were first due at 181st and Valentine from their former quarters, even when 48 moved south on Webster. They ran straight across the Concourse on 183d to Valentine. Now they have to go north on Morris to get across the Concourse...

...BUT...now, if they go south and cross the Concourse against traffic on 181 St they are closer than 48/56.

Any chauffeurs from 75/33 out there to confirm which route?

75/33 were 1st due @ 181 and Tiebout (Box 3162) from their old quarters. That always annoyed me, that box was a bunt from Webster Ave.

But don't you have to allow for the steep climb to Valentine from any numbered cross street? ??? :
