The 1969 Run Card shows Squad 2 on the box. That was a "Working Outfit" in those days. I was just getting into the buffing thing. Was Squad 2 operating out of the quarters of E73/L42 then ?

YES! Yes, remember that bit of "War Years" trivia that was mentioned at our last "Buff Meeting"? The firehouse that led in verbal alarms from quarters was E83/L29. Box 2147 is at the western end of their block so you just had to step out in front of quarters: (1.) look left, (2.) see smoke or flame, (3.) pick up the phone and tell the Bx. C.O. ;) 8)

G-man, I didn't partake in that conversation at the Member Meeting. I was probadly involved in another one across the room. I never knew that E83/L29 had the most Verbals for fires. But I appreciate you telling me that.

And so Squad 2 was with 73/42 at the time. Maybe I was thinking about Rescue 3 that was with 71/55 back then, right !
