Fire on the 6th floor of a 6 story 100x100 Class 1 MD.

0335 - MD - Reports of people trapped on the 6th floor.

0339 - Bn. 12 - Transmit the 10-75.

TL-22 FAST

0343 - Bn. 12 - All Hands - We have (1) 10-45 no code.  One line being stretched, it is a long stretch, taking some time.

0348 - Bn. 12 - 1 L/S/O, water on the fire.  Primaries in the fire apartment, Apt 6E, are negative.

0354 - Bn. 12 - All visible fire knocked down, trucks opening up.  DWH.

0356 - Bn. 12 - The 10-45 is code 2, CPR in progress.

0404 - Div. 3 - Secondaries in the fire apartment, hallways, and stairways are negative.  PWH - Duration 34 minutes.

0406 - Div. 3 - Transmit a 10-41 code 1.

I'm sure you did not mean this statement the way it appears. It's not a contest and an 81 year old has, or hopefully not, had his life on the line.

of course my main concern is the 81 yo victim.  the friendly rivalries of neighboring companies will never change and that is tradition.  there is very little fire duty anymore and missing a first due job is never a good feeling...not to mention a medal in June
