12/18/11 2nd Alarm Hartford Ct

Wow, again at 465 Zion? That's got to be the third time this year!

I'm guessing a rundown would look something like(if all companies are available):

Box Assignment:

Engine 8, Engine 11, Engine 5
Ladder 2, Ladder 5
Tac. 1
District 1(DC)

10-3(Working Fire) Assignment:

Engine 1(R.I.T.), Engine 15(Rehab.)
District 2
Rehab. unit

1-1-2(2nd Alarm) Assignment:

Engine 9, Engine 10, Engine 14
Ladder 4

I think I just heard District 1(DC) holding Engine 10 and Ladder 2. Also, Engine 1 just went 10-8(Available).

Yeah this is 2nd or 3rd this year. That is a nasty brick that is all boarded up. Ironically it is across the street from a cemetery.

gotta love the captail city...New Haven had a 3rd yesterday  8 houses up from a fire house  got some pics

Yeah, Hartford's pretty much where it's at. I'm not sure if it is now, but their Tac. 1(Rescue) was the busiest rescue in the country a while back. This is the fourth job for the HFD this month. 465 Zion is a boarded up 3-brick that has been the seen of now three fires this year, two of which were 1-1-2's(2nd Alarms).

The job in New Haven sent two guys to the hospital. It started out as a Still for NHFD Engine 11 and Truck 2, was upgraded to a Box, then a Signal 73(working Fire), and then a Signal 22(2nd Alarm).

And then there's Bridgeport: not as many workers as there were back in the day, but they get their share. Last Thursday they had two jobs: one in Downtown on the 2nd floor of a commercial building, and one in the East End, an attic fire in a 3-frame OMD.

once they struck the 73 i was like im not gunna bother going to take pics because 11s is already there once the 22 went i decided to go  East Haven has been getting there fair share also this years  you from CT?

Hartford did not have a fire at this address on this day. The page sent was wrong or very delayed. Hartford did have 2 working fire's in the afternoon of the 18th within a few hours of each other. Engine 14 was first due at both.
