Fire in electrical room in basement of a 3 story commercial 100x100.

Hi G-Man. I recall 2 housewatch desks in the "big house" but I don't think there were walls separating the bays on the apparatus floor, at least not in the early 1960's.
 
Two HWs & two kitchens but no walls on the apparatus floor....when all 3 ENGs were in the House 299 went to boxes South.....275 went to boxes North but when they both moved to their own qrts in '60 275 moved South & 299 moved North.....South of FH always busy to this day but plenty of Fires in the early '60s when a large area of dwelling's & commercial was being cleared to make the York College Campus.
