The ground floor of exposure 4 is the Emerald Pub at 183-03 Horace Harding Expwy (the North Service road of the Long Island Expwy) which formerly was the "Pull Box Pub" ....back then (1990s) it was FF owned & themed with pictures & FD Memorabilia ....their shirts had a picture of a Pull Box numbered 9720 (the Box outside on the corner of Horace Harding North & 183 St)....a great place to hang with guys from around The Job......the ground floor of todays Fire bldg 183-01 Horace Harding is the Star Cafe / Deli.....back when the "Pull Box"was open it had both stores & there was no Deli. ....... https://www.google.com/maps/place/1...x9f884b1351245195!8m2!3d40.74012!4d-73.791185

Yes the supermarket was in the row of stores almost next to the bar....the supermarket became a movie theater ...there was also a Pizza place & a glazier in the row....the Jewish Deli across the LIE from the bar is gone also as is the other supermarket & the Radio Shack at 188 St.

Wow, I completely forgot about the Jewish Deli over there. Had many a fine sandwich from that eatery.
