Something else must have been in ...definitely normally a 293 1st Due Box ...i would think 143 in earlier also.

Why does the dispatcher designate the 3rd due engine the Water Resource Unit? I've heard them due it a couple of times. The 2nd Due engine on a 10-70 is designated the Water Resource Unit.

I think it has to due with which units are 10-84. If the 2nd Eng is 10-84 you might want the 3rd Eng. as the H2O

resource unit so they can get a hydrant on the way in.

Box 8587 for the address 87-01 97th St. went out just prior to Box 2115. E-294 could not find the address at Box 8587 &

made it a 10-92

Sometime when a 10-70 is given the Disp attempts to contact & designate the 2nd Due but if they do not answer (probably 10-84) then they contact the 3 rd Due ....many times though the 2nd Due already got the info on the HT from the 1st Due & resolves the problem.
