I'm gonna ask this question here than rather make a new thread. But why does the dispatcher ask the Incident Commander if a command channel has been established? WHY?!!  :D

Because the command channel is to be used on 2nd alarms and greater.  It's supposed to be part of the division's progress report on if it has been established and used.  I think FDOC calls the dispatch office if no report on the command channel is given.

Anything going on in Upper Manhattan at the time?

93/45/BC13 should get in on that, right over the bridge and a left on University and they're there.
