Not justifying blocking hydrants at all but, with all the new outdoor dining structures, parking has become it's own nightmare in certain parts of the 5 boroughs. Seeing tons of people parking on hydrants and no parking zones, especially overnight. Hopefully these outdoor structures go soon... not only are they taking up parking, they are a fire and accident hazards.

I see that companies now have there company number on the Airpacks. Did they just put it on the back or on the shoulder straps also? Does anyone know where they bought them at?

The FDNY Foundation purchased the SCBA tags. They are a welcome addition. Excellent visibility, easy to ID people. They are also luminescent, which helps in low visibility situations.
That is great. Do you have any idea what company they bought them from?
