Crane Collapse

0827 - MD - Box 0045 - Broad and Wall Street to a Crane Collapse.

0828 - MD - Redirect all units to Worth and Church for a crane collapse. In front of 40 Worth.

0830 - Bn. 1 - Transmit the Signal 10-60.

H&L-6 FAST

0831 - Bn. 1 - Urgent - We need several EMS units. Several injured, 1 trapped in a car.

0835 - Bn. 1 - Command Post at Church and Worth.

0836 - Bn. 1 - We have 1 black tag victim and 1 victim removed and with EMS. All Hands

0839 - Car 6 - We had a crane collapse with a wrecking ball through the roof of 57 Worth. All cars have been searched. 1 DOA.

0840 - Div. 1 - Have Haz Mat respond to West Broadway and Leonard for a fuel spill from the crane.

0840 - Car 6 - Transmit a 10-60 code 1.

0845 - Div. 1 - Transmit a 3rd Alarm. We have a gas leak in several buildings.

0849 - Div. 1 - The crane is spread over 2 blocks.

0852 - Div. 1 - We need DEP at this box. We have a water main break at Worth and West Broadway.

0857 - MD - Fallback Step 3.

0902 - Div. 1 - Have all units respond to the staging area of Church and White Street.

0905 - Div. 1 - Units are checking all basements that were effected. Rescue 1 is checking the stability of all buildings that were struck by the crane. Haz Mat is taking care of the Gas Leak from the tractor. DWH - Duration 40 minutes.

0909 - FC - per Field Comm Battalion, the staging area will be Church and Franklin. He will be set up there as staging manager. Also, have E-93 respond with MCC-2 to Church and Leonard.

0918 - FC - per Car 6 - Primary assessment of all buildings are complete and all are stable. Still checking basements for gas. Secondary searches in all vehicles are complete and negative. DWH

0946 - FC - All searches of the crane are complete and negative.

1030 - FC - We are using Tactical channels 1, 2, 3, & 5. Channel 1 as the primary, channel 2 as command, channel 3 for shoring operations, channel 5 for field comm and staging.

1130 - FC - All primaries and secondaries are complete and negative on the north and south side of Worth Street.  Con-Ed is still working on the gas leaks. We are in the process of releasing companies. DWH - Duration 3 hours 6 minutes.

1145 - FC - Special call 4 Trucks, 2 Battalions, and the IMT Planning vehicle. 2 trucks to Church and Worth, 2 trucks to West Broadway and Worth, and both Battalions to the Command Post at 44 Worth Street.

1212 - FC - Gas service is secure. We do have a 345KV line that has been severed and is leaking dielectric fluid. Notify, DEP, DEC, and the Coast Guard. Transmit a 4th Alarm for relief purposes.  The fourth alarm should consist of 4 Engines, 4 SOC Support Ladders, and 4 Battalions. PWH - Duration 3 hours 48 minutes.

1220 - FC - The Coast Guard notification is for informational purposes only. There is no runoff into any waterways.

1339 - MCC2 - Special Call the Rescue Battalion, Haz-Mat Battallion, and Haz-Mat Company 1.

The Rundown is a guess. Manhattan dispatch did not announce the rundown over the air.

Just heard over citywide an Unusual Occurrence box for 57 Worth for a critical patient being lowered approx. 20 floors via an interior shaft. Patient now removed and in the care of EMS.

I wonder if this was someone that wasn't found yesterday or a totally different incident?
