Twenty years ago today, on February 5, 1996, FF. Louis Valentino of Rescue 2 died in the line of duty from a roof collapse while operating at a 3rd Alarm at Brooklyn Box 2408 for 4400 Glenwood Rd. There is currently a park in Red Hook in honor of Louis.
