As I stated in 2019, this is useless information for most, but for any Bronx followers, this info is based solely on jobs posted on this site & Signal 73s Bx. map, which has always been fairly accurate. Below are the 2020 results:
B15 - 57
B18 - 55
B17 - 52 (almost 2x 2019 #)
B19 - 52
B20 - 47
B27 - 39
B14 - 34
B3 - 32
B26 - 20
As always, thanks to Signal 73 for his time spent doing the Boro maps & all the jobs that he posts, as well as the many others that post jobs on this site - I think very few jobs get by you guys.

Being retired and bored sitting around the house these past number of days is my excuse - so yeah yeah I know that this will be filed under "useless information", but still I found it interesting. If it's useless to you, I get it!
Using Signal73's Bronx map as the reference - here are the number of 2019 1st due BC responses to All Hands/Greater Alarm Fires:
B15 - 70
B18 - 63
B19 - 49
B27 - 45
B20 - 35
B3 - 32
B14 - 29
B17 - 28
B26 - 20
Being born and raised in the Bronx, I'm not bored enough to do the other boroughs.
Thanks to Signal73 for the time & effort he puts in on mapping fires in all the boros, as well as posting many of the jobs.

"8060rock", these numbers are invaluable to the guy that wants to follow the action in the Boro of the Bronx.

I think those of us who have been around for awhile will generally agree that both Batt 18 and 19 have been busy for decades and continues to be busy.

Of course Batt 27 was busy during the FDNY War Years in the South Bronx and then moved over to the West Bronx as fire activity increased in those neighborhoods.

The biggest change of course is seeing Batt 15 and Batt 20 up there. While Batts 3,14,17, and 26 are in the lower numbers. As some would say: "It's as if they took the Bronx and turned it upside down.

On a side note Dan, aka 8060rock, being "born and raised" in the Bronx, maybe you might have met up with a couple of guys in the old neighborhood years ago. I'm sure there's plenty more here from the Bronx as well. But guys like:

So Wakefield at the Top here. My Mom and Dad live around the Corner from 63/39/15 Just the Nicest bunch of Guys anywhere. My Dad goes crosses the Street on Bryon Why? Cause those Guys look out for everybody. Yes the Bronx has changed. It certainly has flipped in responses.

I guess Brooklyn remains the borough of fire.

Reminds me of the chatter the other day, where Queens called themselves the Borough of Fire in remarks to Rescue 2 boasting while returning to Brooklyn.
