"Truckless Triangle": I see 4 single engines before any truck. Does anybody know who the 5th engine is on this box? ??? I see a possible tie between E230 & E277.

230 then 277.
So that means there are 5 engines closer than the 1st truck into that box. That would not be the case if L108 was still on Seigel St.

Has there ever been talk about putting a truck at 222? Seems they're the only one who would have the room for it.

When 222's house was first built there was talk of moving 112 over from Bushwick, but the Bushwick community objected and that plan was scrapped.

Jim i think what happened back when it was time for 112 to move w/222 it was DV*17 namely DC Al Schafner RIP who objected to them moving somewhat out of "wood city"....Few Community's back then (especially Bushwhack of the '70s ) had very little say or were paid little if any attention to by the City.

Chief Jonat of the 17th Division was also adamant about keeping L 112 in Bushwick.

I think the all the DCs were in accord ....DC Al S.was never afraid to express his views to anybody so probably was the spokesman....as a BC in the 35 he set many straight & as a longtime President of the Stueben Society he tried to set the bar for keeping the Merit System alive & fair way back then...when he Retired he wrote a great letter explaining why he felt held back by the Administration as far as becoming a Staff Chief because of his strong beliefs in what was right.....RIP.

Chief,
I stand corrected. Back then the chiefs did speak out and, as is/was the case with 112, were actually listened to. The 17 had some good chiefs.
