The fire trucks - from Valley Regional and Hazle Township fire departments - collided at an intersection while responding.

Hazle Township decided to purchase a used aerial to replace the tiller lost in the above accident. This truck will be placed in service at Station 2 so that there will be an aerial on both ends of the Township. The truck will be partially rehabbed and painted in Hazle Township colors prior to being placed in service after all aerial and pump tests are performed.
