1140 - E-50 - Transmit the 10-75. Fire out of a window on the 4th floor.

L-48 FAST - TL-31 became available and responded

1144 - Bn. 17 - All Hands

1146 - Bn. 17 - Fire on the 4th floor of a 5 story. 1 L/S/O, stretching a 2nd line.

1147 - Div. 6 - We have water on the fire.

1152 - Div. 6 - 2 L/S, 1 L/O, trucks opening up, searches in progress. DWH

1203 - Div. 6 - We have fire on the 4th floor with extension to the 5th floor. MBFKD on the 4th floor. Opening up and checking for extension. DWH

1210 - Div. 6 - Primaries are complete and negative throughout. AVFKD. Remain DWH.

1212 - Div. 6 - One extra Truck (TL-44).

1227 - Div. 6 - Make this a 10-41 code 1.

1231 - Div. 6 - Secondaries are delayed due to a clutter condition on the fire floor. Requesting 2 additional Trucks for relief (L-55, TL-58).

First due units transmitting fire out windows for this particular fire as well! Five story occupied multiple dwelling with fire on the fourth floor at this time

Picture 15 shows a member wearing what appears to be a new leather helmet. Are new leather helmets making a comeback? I think I have also seen leather helmets in other recent pictures.

Yes I have spoken with the FDNY Quartermaster that I do decal work for and they said they are going back to Leather helmets but not sure when. Also looking at that picture number 15 it looked like an older 1 a few members on the job still wear the one they have always had but very few.
