Given today’s wind conditions, the fire started around Devon Avenue and beelined straight for the water (the real point). This was a wind-driven incident that moved fast.

GBVFD responded with BFU1, BFU2, Engine 1, and Car 1 with UAS. We did what we could without melting our rigs. We pump and roll, but with PD and Marine Units operating, the beach became too soft for us to draft effectively.

With Bambi Bucket operations, we also had to give way to manned aircraft while operating our drone.

No one got stuck, no one got hurt, and no mistakes.

This video is played at 4x speed—otherwise, it would just be too long.

Good work by all.
