Agreed MP, doesn't the FDNY put a small brush fire unit into service on days like this to patrol the area of Borough Park? They respond to burning of the bread fires and supervise and extinguish.

They activate at least 2 reserve engines and relocate a few companies to patrol the area. I happen to be the unlucky one and working to day in one of those companies relocated.

L109 is acting L156 because L156 O.O.S. today due to Medicals. Probably because of the job created a big gap in availability of trucks so L109 filling that.
