E293 is normally 2nd due but they're over at E294/HL143 while their firehouse is renovated but why E293 for Window Bars? ???

The heads up thing for window bars is an extra E&T w/the ENG standing by outside by w/a charged line in  case a civilian/civilians or FFs are trapped behind  a barred window before the bars can be removed ...the line can be used to push Fire back in an extreme situation....not all Chiefs do this but i always did.
