Fire on the 2nd floor of a 7 story 350x350 warehouse.

1549 - Bn. 40 - We're going to use All Hands, no special units. Small fire on the 2nd floor. 1 L/S, not in operation. DWH

L-148 FAST - E-282 4th Engine (Rescue and Squad not assigned)

1556 - Bn. 40 - We are still trying to gain access to the area where the fire is located.

1614 - Div. 8 - 1 L/S/O, water on the fire, the sprinkler system was activated. The fire is contained to one room that is full of cardboard. Special Call an additional Truck (TL-149).

1627 - Div. 8 - Primaries are negative on the fire floor and floor above. PWH

Not a Whale Square post but in the late '70s / early '80s many jobs w/201/114 1st Due in Sunset Park Dwellings ....a lot of retribution by gasoline in a stairwell.

MOSF means Major Oil Storage Facility, 2-1460 is the site number. These are all regulations of the NYS DEC. The website below shows where you can search for the storage facilities (using the site number or location).
