288 was originally assigned as an engine, but said they were coming from the 52 Batt. They were replaced by 262 as an engine and stayed on the box as a Squad.

Thanks for all of the corrections.

My co-workers should know better than to interrupt me during a 2nd Alarm.

If that's per the Barb, how does the Barb know when 288 should be moved up as an engine? I understand the Squad is always the last listed engine on these cards, but I don't understand how'd they'd know where to "place" the Squad in the engine assignment when other engine companies are unavailable.

Looks like 136 Truck got a new Ferrara, I know their 05-06 Seagrave has been in the shops for a while and they were using a spare for quite some time...pics from the link above show they are using a Ferrara...anyone know anything about that?

I believe L136 is using Ladder 4 ferrara that was replaced as a spare. They put it into the spare pool.  They re-painted L24 rig that was replaced and made it the FDNY 150th Anniversary Rig. Not sure what happened to the third rig. Was it L29?

that is the BARB paperwork from when it first went online. There might have been some changes to it as companies protest some of the changes. The companies in bold/italicized are the companies that had their response changed. Either moved up or back in the order.
The rest of it would probably need a Dispatchers insight, but they do have 1st thru 3rd due boxes.

Somehow having 288 in last on the 5th doesn't compute. Would they not be the Squad (if available) on the 10-75?

Barb assignments are on the fdny intranet, accessed in firehouses only, they show as stated all assignments up to 5th alarm no relocations as old running cards had. The squad assigned is shown as last due on 5th alarm, remember squads do have 1st 2nd & 3rd due boxes so it should show next up squad at bottom.
