While I wasn't working for this one, the box assignments have been changed a bit since 65 moved in with 26 a couple of weeks ago.

Might be that or someone was on another call. Can you please look into this as it would be way quicker/more direct to send 26/65 straight up 8th ave for 5 blocks than to have 54 drive east on 48th to 7th down to 42 and then head west to 8th. Even 34 would be quicker as they drive east on 38th to 8th and then straight up.
Thanks!

Ok Len, slow it down. Take the (insert color here) pill as we say in the office. Please understand that at present time, the alarm assignments in the Starfire CAD are not directionally based. They are based on line of sight distance from the box location. Straight lines, no turns or twists are taken into account.

Thanks a lot! I knew you would be the one that could answer something like that.

Trust me, I've seen the proposed Manhattan BARB program. Just like the proposed BARB in the Bronx 4 years ago, I'm seriously scratching my head.

There were 2 boxes out for this job, Box 787 & 797, units responded to both boxes with BN-8 on one and BN-9 on the other

Squad never made it down to the platform....another "wonderful "job by esu they are seriously going to kill someone with the way they operate
