0408 - Bn. 9 - Transmit the 10-75. We have one precautionary line stretched.

L-16 FAST - E-65 4th Engine

0412 - Bn. 9 - All Hands - There is no fire in the building. We are trying to locate the Con-Ed vault on a construction site.

0435 - Bn. 9 - Can you have Haz-Mat respond to this box.

Why is it that FDNY does not have the Haz-Mat respond on all commercial/industrial fires without having to be special called?  Also why not put them on a 2nd alarm they can act as another rescue company.

They would be spread too thin being assigned to boxes that quite often are BS.  Also , if they wanted to do rescue work they would have went to rescue.
