FDNYSI... There had to be some company's out when this box hit. L 112 & TL 124 are in before
L 176. Also E 271 should be 4th due. When
E 277 moved to temp to E 222. E 319 picked up all the boxes on Fresh Pond Rd as 4th due.
E 319 is 5th due now along that entire stretch

Maybe E271 was 4th due not sure. But yes I thought there would be other activity at time of alarm for those 3 trucks to be 10-84 together. Little bit of a run for L176. Seems like a hike for the 46 Batt too.

D-14 requested 2 additional trucks at around 19:15, initially it was TL-127 act. 135 & H&L-175, then QD advised D-14 that L-176 is replacing H&L-175

E-319 got a relocator.

Was wondering the same, didn't hear a change in FAST truck.

Brooklyn had a box out at the same time, box 0760 for 1431 Greene Ave. E-277, L-112 & TL-124 were on the Brooklyn box initially, perhaps 112 quickly became avail. & replaced 176?

When Batt 59 was in 319 from 1984 to 1989
they had a large response area. All of Fresh Pond Rd in Maspeth and Ridgewood...
Wyckoff Ave... Rego park... Forest Hills.. part of Woodhaven and other areas. This is when the job tried to keep the Batts in Brooklyn and not respond into Queens

And that's when Battalion 51 was moved to Engine 308.
Was there ever any talk about moving them back to Engine 294/Ladder 143 when the 59 was disbanded?

That was also about the time that they introduced the computer assist dispatch which figured in a time delay between Brooklyn and Queens.
Engine 277 was on the second alarm at Wycoff and Putnam while Engines 291,286 and 288 were on the initial alarm. Capt, do you remember Engine 319 responding to Wycoff and Cooper or Irving and Decatur?

No.. our last box in Glendale was 4555. Cooper Ave & 66 Street. SQ 252 is 3rd due and 233 is 4th due.. After that 319 goes to 2nd Alarm in Liberty Park. Cooper & Cypress 319 is either 4th or 5th alarm. The only one that responded down that far was Batt 59.....

The funny part was when the 59 was
Re- established it felt like the good old days when we were in the 51 Batt.
