Large Area of Brush in Forest Park

1200 - Engine 319 - Transmit the box after initial. We have emptied our booster tank twice.

1224 - Bn. 46 - Using All Hands, Give me only the 4th Engine and FAST Truck - No additional units.  MBFKD - PWH.

TL-135 FAST

1244 - Bn. 46 - Under Control - We are putting the FAST truck to work for fire duty, but do not need them replaced.  Duration 1 hour 35 minutes.

This box location has always been a issue regarding brush fires in Forest Park..... When 5109 comes in the ticket usually reads....MYRTLE AVE & PARK DR....ENGINE ONLY FOR BRUSH...... Usually we go thru the park , if nothing we get on the Jackie Robinson going east.....
There are no hydrants so once you dump the booster you have to go to either Woodhaven Blvd or Myrtle Ave to fill up.....
