Reports of people trapped on the 17th floor, smoke on floors 19, 21, & 40.

1731 - Bn. 27 transmitted the 10-77

TL-46 FAST

1742 - Bn. 27 - Attack stair "B", Fire in Apt. 17-A

1802 - Div. 7 - MBFKD, 2 L/S/O

1810 - Bn. 27 - PWH - Primaries are complete and negative.

The infamous Tracey Towers, a 41-story 150'x100' interconnected w/40 W. Moshulu Pkwy.

E79/L37/B27 first due.

In an old audio clip I heard from the '90's of a 10-77 at the Towers, Engine 81 was the C.F.R.D., Engine 66 was the H.R.N., Ladder 46 was the F.A.S.T., and Battalion 18 was the Safety. Not sure if it is the same assignments for today.

Interesting,. Box 3553 used to be for Jerome Ave at Mosholu pkwy. Assignment was:

79 48 62 81 75. 37 56 32F.

Not sure, but think years ago, before STARFIRE and units moving to new quarters, E48 & L33 were 2d due,  E75 3d due. Furthest box north for 48, 75, 33. Beyond 3553, assignments dropped to 2 and 2.

There are two building, 20 and 40 W. Moshulu Pkwy. S. I seem to remember that E48 was 2nd due to one building, but 3rd or 4th due to the other building.

  This is a card printed in 1967 with numerous changes. An interesting thing is where E81 was 3rd due yet L46 relocated to L37 on the 2nd alarm.

I think Firephish' rundown on the original post is the correct one today. (Perhaps the "BARB man" can comment.)

Never could figure the 2d alarm relocation pattern on boxes in this area north of Bedford Park. E38 drives right by E62 on the way to 79s quarters while E90 goes to 62. ???  Better that 38-62, 90 across Fordham Rd/Southern Blvd to 79. File this under "the ultimate Monday morning quartetback" since no one is alive to explain it.

  What about E81 3rd due yet L46 driving right past the fire scene to relocate to L37?  Also on boxes near and north of Gun Hill Rd., L46 used to relocate to L39 ???

You would know smalldub. E45 before E92 on the old card. Makes sense it would be BN 18 before 17.
