Trash can fire on the 10th floor

-B13 10-75 for smoke on 10 floor 22:55

CIDS: Research lab. 19-story Class-1 320x125. Use post radio underground tunnel system. Standpipe off stairs. Medical radiation storage in basement. Interconnected with 222 and 250 W 168th St

-MN to B13...based on the CIDS we are giving you the HazMat response 22:58

-B13 send back all special units, we have a small trash fire in a classroom confined to the trash can 22:59

-D7 continue the FAST truck 23:00

-B13 Room number is 10-451. The fire has been extinguished. You can return all special units. Fire is Doubtful (-D7 continue the FAST truck) 23:01

-B13 the fire is now Probably Will Hold 23:01

-D7 continue the FAST truck until the fire is Under Control 23:01

-B16 we are 10-84 at the box, could you put us back on it? we are being put to work 23:04

-MN to D7...Medical Branch Resources are responding 23:04

-D7 10-84 23:06

-MN to D7...we just received a Class-3 alarm for 650 W 168th St 23:12

-D7 all visible fire has been extinguished. Primary searches of the fire floor, 11th, and 12th floors are complete and negative. Primaries above those floors are underway. Secondary search of the 10 floor (fire floor) is negative. We will remain at Probably Will Hold while the companies vent the upper floors for smoke. We used All Hands 23:17

-23:20 via HT...B13 to D7 the alarm was in an open hallway and smoke traveled through it. Command Center is calling up, they are resetting it as we speak. -B16 to D7 I'm with an engineer on the 10th floor, he says the entire building is in vent mode and the smoke is lifting pretty good. D7 notify him the 17th floor MER? room we are getting a duct detector

-23:23 via HT...D7 to L23 wer'e about to go Under Control, could you guys put that stuff away and come in here? I know I don't usually put the FAST truck to work but we might need you

-D7 all primary and secondary searches throughout are negative. The alarm in 650 W168th St is OK, it was residual smoke in a corridor that passed through. We are placing this fire Under Control 23:23

-23:25 via HT... D7 to L23 you're going to work on secondary searches above and I think there's 4 or 5 staircases. D7 according to the building card, the building has 3 staircases to that floor correct? B16 we are trying to ascertain that now. So far E and H are clear

-D7 have the RAC continue in 23:28

-D7 smoke condition has been alleviated on the upper floors and CO levels are back to normal. We are gonna make this box a 10-41c1 for fire on the 10-floor with unknown causes 23:38

-D7 10-8 from 1701. B13 will be the IC. Units will go 10-8 as available 23:48

Do you know if this at Columbia-Presbyterian?

10-4, possibly near the Vanderbilt Clinic in the building but that's just a guess based on the map.
