Gotta call Tow Boat!
I've been in a "disabled vessel" in the same spot, but didn't have the good graces of Marine 4.
Marine 6 was also assigned to today's box, with a 45 minute ETA.

BronxFireRadio, that was you ? I hope everything is okay now. BronxFireRadio has some Excellent radio audio sounds on his web site. From both handie talkie and Bronx Fire Radio traffic.
And I do have a question. TL 50 was assigned as the Water Rescue Unit. Is that because they carry special equipment or can ANY Ladder Co be assigned as the Water Rescue Unit ?

Thanks NFD, nope not me on yesterday's box. I was on a friend's boat a few years ago in the same spot which started having intermittent engine failure. We got it going again, but it died going into the marina in Pelham Bay...when a boat's engines fail at speed - no brakes. Bumper boats!

They carry suits for going into the water/surf rescue. They get assigned because it is a water job and possibility of people being in the water.

First, glad it wasn't you "Bronx Fire...". And Thanks there FDNY150. Just to help me out a little more, "do ALL the FDNY Ladder Cos carry the water rescue suits" ? Or only a certain few due to their proximity to the water.
