For the amount of times that the joint lights up they should have their own FD on premises. At least twice a month if not more it's cooking.

Any ideas why they have so many fires ? Do people recycle things they shouldn't with the paper or is there some other reason ?

I was wondering the same thing. Why so many fires in the pit of this facility? Is that a “norm” when talking about a recycling plant? (Wouldn’t think so)

According to the articles at the following links fires at recycling plants are a growing problem due to improper disposal of lithium batteries prevalent in phones and computers.
