Address: 99 Hudson Street at Franklin St.

Fire in a 2nd floor mechanical room of a 16 story 100x100 Class 1 Commercial.

1524 - MD - Class 3 Alarm Activation

1527 - L-8 - Fill out the box, heavy smoke on the 2nd floor.

1529 - E-7 - Transmit the 10-75.

TL-9 FAST

1533 - Div. 1 - Transmit the 10-76.  Heavy smoke on the 2nd floor.  Have not located the fire yet.

1542 - Div. 1 - Fire has been knocked down by the sprinkler system.  1 L/S/O to knock down pockets of fire.  Primaries are complete and negative on the fire floor.  DWH

1550 - Div. 1 - Secondaries complete on the fire floor.  Slight haze in above floors.  PWH.

1557 - Div. 1 - Primaries and secondaries are complete and negative. 

1606 - Div. 1 - Still working on shutting the sprinkler system down.  Under Control - Duration 45 minutes.

1615 - Div. 1 - 10-8, Bn. 2 is in command.  10-45 code 4

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this one of the first 1st due jobs Ladder 8's had in a long time?

Down one block and around the corner for the Ghost busters truck  ;) I was actually right around the corner from this bldg 2 days ago. Also, where was 10 truck and 10 engine?

29 Engine and 31 Engine: also no where to be found  ;)
This location was the SW corner of "Hell's Hundred Acres" when Ladder 8 was a very busy co. along with all the neighboring engines. Most have been disbanded and many were double companies including 8 Truck. Those "Hell's Hundred Acre" disbanded companies were: Eng. 13(1 & 2), 20, 25, 27(1 & 2), 29, 30(1, 2 & 3), 31(1 & 2), 33(2), E72; Ladder: 5(2), L8(2), L9(2), L20(2).

At the time of this job E32 was relocated to E56 who was delayed by BISP to relocate to E261 who was relocated to E272. :eek:
