19:00  Report of a fire on the second floor of a seven story OMD

19:02 Fire extention to the 3rd floor and side apts on the 2nd

19:12  Fire now has extended  to the 4th / 5th floors--with jumpres down

Total of 24 ambulances called, including: Baldwin, mvac, north bellmore,hicksville, n.merrick, plainview, east rockaway, levittown, garden city park, oceanside, valley stream, elmont, new hyde park, franklin square, lynbrook, rockville centre, merrick, west hempstead, jericho, lakeview, lawrence-cedarhurst, North Bellmore, glen cove, Wantagh and Seaford, Massapequa, North Massapequa, Plainview, Massapequa Park, as well as Williston Park.  A total of 29 aided were transported to area hospitals. This does not include the multiple firefighters operating at scene that received rehab, the RMA's signed by patients who refused transport, and the hundreds of other residents that could have been potential victims.
