A sad memory about box 727 Evergreen Ave & Troutman St. while I was in 108.....around 1969 / 1970 one of my LTs Parents still lived on Evergreen Ave off Troutman St.....we used to be assigned on 727 while Quartered on Siegel St. (back then we WERE the Truck in the triangle)...one afternoon while returning from another Run Box 727 was pulled....we arrived first & that LT (later also our CPT) was the Officer working with us....as we were pulling up to the Box he recognized 2 of the people standing there as his Parents neighbors ....it turned out they pulled it....the LTs Father had a heart attack in the flat & was laying on the kitchen floor with the LTs Mother standing there crying.....we performed mouth to mouth until BN*35 arrived with the old Emerson Resuscitator .....a Health & Hosp Bus transported him but he did not make it.
