MIDTOWN EAST -
At 7am Monday, FDNY responded to reports of an unconscious person in a car. Upon arrival firefighters located a vehicle parked at the dead end of 56th street off Sutton place. The vehicle was occupied by one male around 50 years of age. A note in the window stated “Poison Gas - Do not open.”
Firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle and decontaminated him with a hose before he was transported to Bellevue hospital by FDNY EMS rescue Medics.
This happened in the same location last year - incidents very likely related.
