Fire in the 1st floor commercial of a 6 story 195x210 mixed occupancy.

0626 - BD - Engine 82, we are getting a lot of calls, you are going to work.  It sounds good.

0627 - E-82 - 10-75 the box.  Fire on the 1st floor, roll down gates.

L-42 FAST

0636 - Bn. 3 - All Hands - Extra Engine and Truck (E-45, L-19).

0640 - Bn. 3 - We have heavy smoke issuing from the store on the 1st floor, but have not yet located fire.  2 L/S.

0652 - Div. 6 - MBFKD, 3 L/S, checking for extension.  Primaries on the floor above are negative.

0653 - Div. 6 - 2nd Alarm

0707 - Div. 6 - All primaries are complete and negative.  All visible fire knocked down.  DWH

0718 - Div. 6 - Primaries are negative throughout.  Notify the Board of Health for a grocery store (La Suegra Super Market).  PWH - Duration 51 minutes.

0728 - Div. 6 - Secondary searches are still in progress.  We have (3) 10-45 code 4's.

0735 - Div. 6 - Can I get an Engine and Truck for relief (E-96, TL-58).

0756 - Div. 6 - Secondaries are all complete and negative.  We have (2) additional 10-45 code 4's for a total of (5).  Only one is being transported. 

0805 - Div. 6 - Under Control - Duration 1 hour 37 minutes.

Between the Extra Engine and Truck and the 2nd Alarm, Bn. 18 (along with Engine 96 & Tower Ladder 58) responded on a separate box. 
It appears that the firefighting chief on the 2nd Alarm was given a more sophisticated name.  This name was also given the prior day at 2nd Alarm Box 3490.
