Battalion 52: 10-75, we have fire in the walls of a 3 story OMD.

20:37 hours - Duration 9 minutes
BC52: Box 4481, we have a fire in the wall on the 3rd floor of a 3 story MD, dimensions are 20x40.  At this time we have 1 line stretched, it is in operation, main body of fire has been knocked down, searches in progress, trucks are opening up checking for extension.  We're going Probably Will Hold, return Rescue, Squad, and Battalion 53, have the 4th due engine and FAST Truck continue in.

1 - street
2 - similar attached
3 - rear yard
4 - similar attached

BC52: Notify ConEd we're going to shut the gas down, we're going to shut it down to the meter.

20:39 hours - Duration 12 minutes
BC52: Box 4481 we're going to place the fire Under Control.

Note Division Chief 14 asked to be kept on the box when BC 52 was returning most of the apparatus on the 10-75 call.  This is obviously a personal call on the part of the DC - anybody have a feel for how often the DC wants to continue in etc.?

E274 has been busy - first due on a couple of 10 75's not far from quarters in the last week or so -see box 4471 on 7/4. Also worked the Throgs Neck Bridge fire last Friday.
