Location: IND Lines at West 145 Street and St. Nicholas Avenue
Track Fire.
0727 - Manhattan - Phone Alarm - Odor of smoke in the station.
0742 - Bn. 16 - Ladder 28 is on the light train headed south from 145 Street ti 135 Street.
0745 - Bn. 16 - We found the fire, one block south of the station on the C line. We have about 15 railroad ties burning.
0755 - Bn. 16 - Have power cut to the D line as well as the C line. It appears the at the railroad ties are primarily on the D line.
0800 - Bn. 16 - We will need power cut on all southbound tracks. We are going to have to go out on the cat walk to extinguish the fire.
0818 - Manhattan - We are now getting reports of a "man under" at 145 Street and St. Nick.
0824 - Bn. 16 - It doesn't look like there is anyone under. There are no trains moving in that station.
0848 - Bn. 16 - All Hands - PWH - We will be stretching a line into the emergency exit at 141 Street. No special units needed.
