Electrical fire in the basement of a 6 story 100x50 MD.
2158 - Bn. 17 - Give a 10-75. Fire in the electrical room in the basement.
L-49 FAST - E-50 4th Engine (became available from another run)
2201 - Bn. 17 - Extra Engine and Truck (E-46, TL-31). Power is out to the entire building. 2 L/S, 1 L/O. All Hands.
2205 - Div. 6 - We have heavy arching in the basement at the electrical panel. Put a rush on Con-Ed. Dry chem on the fire. MBFKD. Primaries are complete and negative in the basement.
2216 - Div. 6 - MBFKD. Primaries are negative up to the 3rd floor. We have (1) 10-45 code 4.
2223 - Div. 6 - Conditions remain the same. We have heavy arching and high CO. Special call an additional Truck, Battalion, and Vent Support Unit (TL-46 act. TL-44, B-19, TL-33 VSU) DWH
2240 - Div. 6 - Still have heavy arching. Keeping it at bey with Dry Chem. We're running out of Purple K. Send us 2 additional trucks (L-59, TL-45).
2246 - Div. 6 - We have (3) additional 10-45 code 4's for a total of 4.
2258 - Div. 6 - Con Ed is in the process of cutting power to the building. Units are setting up fans to vent. CO levels are coming down. DWH
2308 - Div. 6 - Send us 2 additional Trucks, one will be the new FAST Truck (L-55, L-27 FAST)
2313 - Div. 6 - Transmit the 2nd Alarm. We still have heavy arching. Con Ed has not been able to shut down the power.
2315 - Div. 6 - Have responding units bring their dry chem to the front of the building.
2331 - Div. 6 - Con Ed has cut the power. Smoke is clearing and CO is going down. Return all units who are not on scene. PWH - Duration 1 hour 40 minutes.
