Division  8:    At  Box  145,    We  have  fire  on  all  floors  of  a  3  Story  Frame  Bldg.    Exterior  operation

With  the  TowerLadder.    Getting  ready  to  put  the  2nd  TowerLadder  into  operation.    All  members
are  accounted  for.  Searches  will  be  delayed  due  to  safety  concerns. Fire  is  Doubtful.

( 2 )  TowerLadders  in  operation.    Heavy  volume  of  fire  out  the  Exp. #3  side.

No  Exposure  problems.    Searches  will  be  conducted  from  the  exterior  with  safety.

Still  Doubtful.

Division  8:  Box  145,  Continuing  to  operate  with  3  hand-lines  &  ( 2 )  TowerLadders  from  the

exterior.  Making  good  progress.    Still  have  pockets  of  fire  thru  out.    Searches  are  being  conducted 

from  the  exterior  under  safe  conditions.    No  extensions  to  any  of  the  exposures.

Fire  is    Probably  Will  Hold.

Has there ever been any consideration for SI to have its own Squad Company. Just from what little I know of SI,with its high potential for serious Haz-Mat and Water Rescue jobs,along with the working structure fires,just seems such a response for SQ1 and leaves that section of BKLYN uncovered. Just a food for thought.

I remeber hearing from somewhere, correct me if im wrong coudlve been a rumor, that there was talk of makeing Engine 165 into a Squad?

Rescue 5 is a Haz Tech unit, and I understand that all the Rescue companies are trained for water rescue.

That's been a rumor for years. 168 was also brought up at one time in the rumor mill.
