Fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 story flat roof 20x50 PD.

1454 - Bn. 51 - 10-75 the box.

H&L-143 FAST - E-294 4th Engine

1456 - Bn. 51 - All Hands - 2 L/S, no lines in operation. Still searching for the fire.

1458 - Bn. 51 - Fire is located on the 2nd floor. Extra Engine and Truck (E-293, L-173).

1502 - Div. 13 - Transmit the 2nd Alarm. We have fire in the cockloft. Have Engine 293 report to the front of the building to take the cockloft nozzle.

1505 - Bn. 51 - 3 L/S, 2 L/O, we have the cockloft nozzle in operation. We have fire in the walls. DWH

1518 - Div. 13 - AVFKD, primaries are negative in the fire building. Trucks are opening up, searching for pockets of fire. Primaries are underway in the attached exposure 4. DWH

1526 - Div. 13 - Secondaries are negative in the fire building. Primaries and secondaries are negative in exposure 4. PWH - Duration 39 minutes.

1535 - FC - Transmit a 10-41 code 1. Under Control - Duration 49 minutes. Requesting an Engine for a watch line.

AH yesterday down the block at 111-24  112 St......(maybe this block is becoming a modern day Sutter & Grafton ? .... i doubt it)

There should be "at least" one in each Division especially in the Summer

Really last I knew there were only 5 when I worked in FDNY Fire Comm. Even in the summer unless something changed
