That parking garage was built by the former St. John's Queens Hospital. I am surprised that it was not taken over by the development company that purchased the hospital and made street level shops with apartments above. If you google 90-02 Queens Blvd. you'll see the front of what used to be the hospital. Hoffman Drive runs behind the building.

Memory.....I worked at St John's Hospital for 25 years and was the last man standing. In Nov 2009 the hospital was sold to a gentleman named Guttman. I continued there for another year and was employed by him. A few years ago he sold the old hospital ( 9002 Queens Blvd ) and the parking garage ( 5804 Hoffman Dr ) to a Koren group for 55 million...Not bad ha...He bought it for 13.3 million...41.7 million profit
