Stuck occupied elevator, 100 feet below grade at an 8 story 300x300 Con Edison plant.
0752 - E-207 - Start out the Battalion. We have 2 people hurt in an elevator that is stuck below the water level. (Major technical assigned)
0757 - E-207 - This is a technical rescue. The elevator jerked, causing all four passengers to become injured. The injuries are non-life threatening. They are approximately 200 feet down the shaft.
0804 - Bn. 31 - Have all special units units with the exception of Rescue and Squad go in service.
0825 - Div. 11 - We have an elevator stuck about 100 feet below grade with for occupants. There are minor injuries. Squad and Rescue are setting up for a high point. There is an elevator mechanic en route.
0907 - Div. 11 - Requesting an additional Squad (Sq. 252).
0926 - Div. 11 - Start out the high angle matrix response (all companies that were returned at 0804 were reassigned).
0944 - Div. 11 - We have one victim out of the shaft, being assessed by EMS. This will be an extended operation. Duration 2 hours 3 minutes.
1006 - FC - The 2nd victim has been removed and is being assessed by EMS. There are 2 additional victims remaining. DWH
1021 - FC - The 3rd victim has been removed, awaiting the 4th. Duration 2 hours 41 minutes.
1041 - Div. 11 - We are in the process of hauling up the last victim. All others were yellow tagged.
1042 - Div. 11 - The 4th victim is out of the shaft and being assessed by EMS. Duration 3 hours 2 minutes.
1046 - Div. 11 - We are in the process of removing our equipment from the shaft. The 2 remaining FDNY members are climbing out. The last victim is a green tag.
1054 - Div. 11 - Under Control - Duration 3 hours 14 minutes.
