Seems to me that we have two very long relocations here.  L167  Aurbundale/Bayside to L116 in Astoria, and L173 Howard Beach to L154 Jackson Heights.  I guess its good for driver training.

No doubt they are lengthy runs -but in off peak hours not too bad. The relocations are based on activity at the moment and not structured - like in the old days - when done right it is a better system - being responsive to actual needs at the time. The fire trucks use the parkways as well as the Expressway and other arterial highways. Recently I saw L165 on the GCP near LaGuardia - probably heading from the Rock back to St Albans.
