I was present at this all hands. Is it possible people have forgotten how to back a car up? Ladder 169 was trying to ladder the roof on the exp 4 side ave R. A man in a van could not back his vehicle out of the way? My attempts to back him outta there along with others directing proved frustrating!  Would it be wrong of me to take the wheel and do it myself.. Yes it angers me to see people on the fire escapes and this guy cannot move his car 50 ft.
