I see 313 relocating quite a bit lately, and a couple of times to 273.  I would think that that leaves 313's area uncovered.  I would think 306 is a better choice.  Keeps Little Neck covered, and 320, 295 and 326 can easily cover 306.  ;) ;)

Wonder if some relocators are either too slow or too fast so that they are selcted on that basis; slow since they don't move a lot; fast so that they can get a break...anybody want to venture a guess?

My guess is that units are selected for relocation based on current conditions, i.e. number of boxes out at the time, other units with extended operation time, units o/s for training, medicals, etc. and the potential of greater alarms being transmitted for the box that has them in the relocation process to begin with. I am probably not even in the ballpark with my synopsis. Never, never, under estimate the foresight and judgment of the FDNY dispatchers. You could throw all the computerized crap out the window and those folks will run the borough with skill, knowledge and experience.

The City just gave the remaining business's in the "Iron Triangle" an eviction notice to take place in 30 days however the planned redevelopment has been put on hold since wilhelm & company did not get the "affordable" housing numbers they wanted.....a real shame that all these business's are being forced out so the fat cats can line their pockets.
