Originally on scene for the house across the street, 52's engine boss saw smoke coming from the basement of this house, and the homeowner is incredibly lucky he did.  They went in and got an early knockdown at an electrical panel that had caught fire, and was burning the walls at a corner of the house as well as the exposed floor beams above.

I mention the homeowners good fortune because the basement was undivided, was the size of the entire footprint of the house, and was loaded throughout with five foot tall piles of "stuff."  If this fire had gotten any headway at all, it could have easily turned into an outside operation.

Oh, and the nozzle and backup positions?  Truckies! ;D
